What is mystery shopping?
Mystery shopping (or secret shopping) is recognized as being an invaluable tool for businesses of all types. Restaurants and retailers now rely on mystery shoppers to provide a detailed evaluation of the dining experience from the guest’s perspective. The ability to “shop” –to observe and analyze one’s surroundings and then accurately and efficiently communicate those observations to the client in a timely manner—are qualities needed for great mystery shoppers.
What does mystery shopping entail?
We provide shoppers a detailed description of each shop so that they inform themselves about the client before shopping. Shoppers are reimbursed for their meals or other required purchases and receive payment for their service.
What is expected of a mystery shopper?
Of course, a mystery shopping service is only as good as the shops it provides its clients. Thus, at Guest Perspective we take great pride in and invest much time and energy in developing and supporting our shoppers. Guest Perspective mystery shoppers undergo personalized orientation and training sessions before they can be eligible to shop. And in order to ensure that we continue to provide our clients with the highest level of service possible, each shop report is reviewed by our management. We strive to inform and support our shoppers!
